Ideogram 4.5 generates images and supports iterative changes. Its Precise Edit workflow aims to preserve pixels outside the selected edit; Runware listed availability on 30 September.

Ideogram 4.5 is an image-generation model with an editing workflow for refining an existing picture. The maker’s product page describes generation, repeated edits and a Precise Edit option.

Precise Edit limits the area being changed

An ordinary generation asks for a whole image. An edit starts with a picture and specifies a change. Ideogram describes Precise Edit as preserving untouched pixels outside the selected region, which can help when a layout or approved detail needs to remain in place.

The practical test is to compare the original and edited images at full size. Check the boundary of the selected region, any small lettering and the consistency of objects that overlap it. The maker’s demonstrations show intended capabilities; results depend on the input and instruction.

Hosted access has a dated provider record

The API overview documents developer access. Runware’s changelog records Ideogram 4.5 and Precise Edit as available on 30 September 2026, the provider-availability date used in the release list.

The hosted product and API supply the confirmed access routes. The Ideogram 4.0 guide remains a record of the preceding generation, while current projects should check the version and editing mode offered by their chosen provider.
