FLUX 3 Image creates and edits pictures with up to ten reference images. Black Forest Labs launched it on 1 October 2026 with a half-price offer ending on 8 October at 15:00 UTC.

FLUX 3 Image is an AI model that creates pictures from instructions and edits existing images. Black Forest Labs released it on 1 October 2026. The same service accepts up to ten reference images, so a user can supply the people, objects or visual style to carry into a new picture.

Users can specify where objects belong

FLUX 3 Image accepts bounding boxes in a prompt: rectangular areas that tell it where an element should appear. Black Forest Labs lists 15 aspect ratios and outputs from 768-pixel square images to 4K, about 16 megapixels. These controls help when a picture has to fit a particular layout. The model page shows the supported creation and editing tasks.

Launch prices run until 8 October

Black Forest Labs offers 50% off requests accepted between 1 October at 15:00 UTC and 8 October at 15:00 UTC. Its pricing page, checked on 5 October, lists:

Output Launch price per image Standard price
768-pixel square $0.0205 $0.041
1K $0.024 $0.048
2K $0.050 $0.100
4K $0.3035 $0.607

The price depends on the output size. The offer has a fixed end time, so a budget for work after 8 October should use the standard column. This release has its own model page and release date; FLUX.2 describes the earlier generation.
