What happened
On March 25, 2025, Abracadabra lost about $13M after a bookkeeping flaw let an attacker self-liquidate, re-borrow and recycle collateral in cauldrons tied to GMX liquidity tokens.
This was accounting getting confused in exactly the way attackers pray for: debt gone from the books while the collateral was still in play. PeckShield flagged the exploit in real time and multiple security firms published detailed breakdowns.
