What happened
Blockaid estimated about $1.49m drained across BNB Chain, Ethereum, Robinhood Chain and Base in an attack on UNCX vesting contracts. The estimate includes copycat and MEV transactions.
Blockaid’s 15 October estimate covers 11 drains: about $969,000 on BNB Chain, $242,000 on Ethereum, $169,000 on Robinhood Chain and $114,000 on Base. In its 14 October statement, UNCX said ten tokens across four chains were affected and described fee changes intended to contain the vesting-v2 issue. The operator said its liquidity locks and legacy vesting contracts were unaffected. Researchers attributed the exploit to vesting accounting; that root-cause assessment remains attributed to its publishers.
