What happened
Arkadiko reported that a governance attack admitted a malicious contract, drained vault assets and caused USDA to lose its peg. Bitquery estimated about $1.09m in losses attributable to Arkadiko.
Bitquery’s component analysis separates about $780,000 stSTX, $135,000 sBTC and $173,000 STX. Its larger $1.16m headline also covers two separate StackSwap incidents on 20 October. This row uses the attributed, rounded Arkadiko component estimate and excludes the separate incidents and printed USDA’s nominal face value.
