FLUX 3 Max

FLUX 3 Max is an AI model that creates short videos from text or images. fal Research developed it with Black Forest Labs, using additional training and serving improvements on the FLUX 3 Video foundation.

Its launch announcement confirms availability from 19 October 2026.

Clips run from five to twenty seconds

The text-to-video specification, checked on 20 October 2026, supports 5–20 seconds of video at 720p or 1080p. Generated audio is enabled by default and can be turned off. The product also has an image-to-video route.

These settings describe the Max endpoint. Black Forest Labs’ wider FLUX 3 Video family has its own endpoints and feature sets.

fal reports a ten-second clip in about twelve seconds

fal reports 12.45 seconds to generate a ten-second 720p clip in its comparison. That is a provider benchmark; prompt complexity, settings and service load affect the waiting time for an individual request.

A launch discount runs through 7 November

The fal pricing page lists promotional rates of $0.0425 per second at 720p and $0.0725 per second at 1080p. It describes a 75% discount running through 7 November 2026, followed by standard rates of $0.17 and $0.29 per second. Prices are for output video and were checked on 20 October.

A ten-second 720p clip therefore costs about $0.425 at the displayed promotional rate, before any separately applicable charges. The hosted API and playground provide the current access routes.
